2008 Plans

Allllll righty then, time to catch everyone up on what he have planned for 2008! Please keep in mind that plans are plans and not set in stone so we may ask you to cut us some slack from time to time if we come up a little short once in a while.

First off, The Misadventures of Clark & Jefferson from Ape Entertainment finally made it to the stands a couple weeks ago and issues 2-4 should be following monthly-or relatively monthly-from here on out until it's done. I say "relatively" because the printer mess up for issue 1 really threw the release dates into a bit of turmoil and now I'm not sure when the new release dates will be yet.

Also, the remastered files for Zero Hunters are at Ka-Blam (the printer) and issue 1 should be available any week now. We'll probably roll out issues 2-4 all at once after issue 1 is out unless I change my mind. The long awaited and much promised hard copies of The Last Warring Angel are also FINALLY on the way! We're going to use Ka-Blam for the single issues also and issue 1 should be out in Feb. '08. We'll probably put out a new issue each month until all 5 are out. I'm keeping quiet about our trade plans for both Zero Hunters and The Last Warring Angel but they are definitely on the horizon. I'll talk more about that at a later date.

I'm also going to be putting out The Disc #1 shortly through Ka-Blam as well. This issue kind of morphed into a 40 pager but fear not, I won't pass the extra page count price onto you because I tend to be a chatty kathy with this book. It will still retail for 2.99 so hey, buy two? I'm probably going to shoot for quarterly with this book though because of our main project...ONE: Season 1. Yep, we are at it feverishly now and I know many of you are happy to hear that because we get a lot of Q's as to where it is. This series is my #1 goal to get out in '08 and I have to say I'm having a blast with it.

I'll also get back to The Gods of Illusion, which another group of you have been asking about. In all honesty I bit off more than I could chew in '07 and the amount of time it took for Misadventures really took it's toll. I have some other stuff I want to get to probably by late '08 including a Dravald mini, a Garrick mini, and also Zero Hunters 2.

Of Evil and Darkness is also still in my plans but it's the type of story that I am dumbfounded no one has done, to my knowledge, in the horror field and I KNOW, that once I start it and I'm 40 pages into the art something similar will be coming out either in movie format or comic. It's just how my luck runs. Anyway, I will eventually get to it unless something happens like I figure it will.

I'm also publishing a book for our main artist, Marc Borstel, called "Ork Lycantrophis" this year. This is some of Marc's first work from long ago and I'm pleased to be able to bring it to the states. Marc does the whole sheebang and I will be lettering over his balloons to translate the comic to English.

Anyway, all in all it's going to be a busy--super busy--year for me. Things may pop up and alter the plans but this is what I'm shooting for in '08. Guess I better get back to work, eh?
